Sick building syndrome
The symptoms of sick building syndrome are non-specific,
complex and not generally a cause of concern in isolation. However,
our consultants undertake SBS surveys to highlight specific areas
that require attention, so that these may be treated effectively
and the overall environmental conditions improved. Areas inspected
may include: the measurement of light intensity, air quality such
as the carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide content, inspection of
the air conditioning system, or air and dust monitoring for the
presence of bacteria, fungi, yeast and mould. Once our consultants
have targeted any problems, they then produce a full report, offering
advice and effective remedial measures.
